David Martindale is in the market for a full-back and a midfielder as the transfer deadline looms.

Livingston’s manager (pictured) wants to be busy ahead of the shutdown and he admitted that injuries and players keen to move on had forced his hand.

He said: “I have been working, trying to get players into the building, so hopefully we will have a wee bit of news about that.

“I would be happy if we could bring a centre midfielder in and a full-back.”
