WAITSFIELD, Vt. (WCAX) - The Green Mountain Stage Race attracts people from all over the world of all ages and levels.
Grace Nottingham is from Richmond, Virginia and started cycling back in 2021.
This is her third year at the race, and she says it’s one of her favorites.
“It gives me goals. I’ve met so many great friends doing it, I get to see so many cool places that I’ve never gone to before,” Nottingham said.
The race has four stages, Saturday was stage three, and they did about 65 miles.
After two days of pedaling, the finish of stage three can be grueling. Supporters lined up on each side of the final hill, and drew chalk on the ground where cyclists ride.
This group of racers came down from Quebec, and say they’re proud to represent Canada.
