A woman killed during a multi-vehicle crash Sunday morning on the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Palms community of Los Angeles has been identified.

Crystal Diaz Martinez was 39 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner.

The crash occurred at about 3:10 a.m. Sunday on the southbound freeway, just north of West Pico Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A Sigalert, issued at 3:44 a.m. closing all southbound lanes, was canceled at 7:13 a.m.
