Just two days after they emerged from training camp, the Sudbury Wolves iced a youthful lineup for their OHL pre-season opener in Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday afternoon.

Daniel Berehowsky scored and the recently signed rookie Owen Leonard stopped all 23 shots he faced over 30:53 as the Wolves dropped a 3-1 decision to the Soo Greyhounds, who will visit Sudbury this coming Friday for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop.

First, however, the Wolves will head up Highway 144 to Timmins for an interleague tilt with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. Start time at McIntyre Arena is 7 p.m.
