LINCOLN COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) - Three people were arrested on Saturday night after reports of an assault in Lincoln County, according to the Oregon State Police.
Shortly before 9 p.m., officers responded to the Van Duzer rest area on Highway 18, after reports of people being chased by a suspect armed with a machete.
When police arrived, the suspect car had already left the area. With the help from local law enforcement, police said they found and arrested the driver and two passengers.
The driver, identified as 30-year-old Mathia Joseph Moses of Otis, was charged with DUII and multiple charges involving assault, unlawful use of a weapon, bias crime, recklessly endangering others, harassment and menacing.
