LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Lubbock Christian Eagles (1-0) are the End Zone Team of the Week!

The Eagles defeated #6 Wink 49-26 in week one to move to 1-0 to open the 2025 season.

Lubbock Christian started the scoring first and fast thanks to a 1-yard touchdown run by quarterback Jason Fleming plus a successful two-point conversion, Wink responded back but missing the extra point to make it 8-6 in the Eagles favor. At the end of the first, Lubbock Christian led 11-6 thanks to a 26-yard field goal.

But Jason Fleming didn’t stop there, opening up the second quarter, he scored another touchdown, this time a 5-yard touchdown run with another successful two-point conversion. Just like the first quarter, the Wildcats responded right back and missed the extra point on the kick again to make it
