DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - It's Labor Day and some call this holiday the unofficial end of summer.
If that's the case, it'll be a nice close to the season after a summer of relentless heat and humidity.
Under a sun and cloud mix, we'll see highs top out in the low-80s.
Tuesday will be another nice day with highs in the low-to-mid-80s. Highs on Wednesday will be about the same.
A strong cold front moves through Central Illinois Wednesday evening bringing us our best chance of more widespread showers and storms this week.
A secondary front Friday could pop a few showers.
Highs late week into this weekend will be in the low-to-mid-70s. A few upper-60s are possible Thursday.
Overnight lows will fall into the 40s Thursday night into the weekend.
