Former Middlesbrough loanee Samuel Iling-Junior is set to make a return to the Championship on transfer deadline day, with a Riverside reunion just around the corner.

West Brom are said to be close to sealing a season-long loan deal for the Aston Villa prospect, with the Baggies set to visit the Riverside on September 19, in the second game back after the international break. West Brom’s late move comes after they sold Tom Fellows to Southampton in a £10 million deal.

Iling-Junior’s move is set to be completed on the final day of the summer transfer window, after Boro opted against pursuing another move for the 21-year-old at the end of last season.
