Olsen Warren was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia - a rare cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow - after his 'constant tonsillitis' wouldn't go away

Despite being given around eight courses of antibiotics for tonsillitis by his GP, by July, the two-year-old's symptoms had escalated to the point where he was unable to walk, leaving his parents "scared and confused".

His mum, Rebecca Jennings, 26, insisted on a blood test at the GP's office, leading to a referral to Worcestershire Hospital on 9th July.

The very next day, little Olsen was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia – a rare form of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. On 12th July, Olsen began chemotherapy at Birmingham Children's Hospital, with his first round lasting four weeks.
