NEW YORK -- A Polish millionaire and CEO is speaking out after facing backlash for snatching a kid's hat at the U.S. Open this week, but it wasn't to apologize.

It happened after a match when a tennis star Kamil Majchrzak was signing autographs after his win. He took off his hat to give to a little boy, but the man just snatched it away and took off with it.

"What are you doing?" the child, whose name is Brock, yells as the man stuffs the hat in a bag.

The video of the exchange has since gone viral online.

After facing criticism online, the man said, "If you were faster, you would have it," and threatened legal action for people criticizing him.

Social media users identified the man in the video as a Polish CEO.
