Monday brings many things to celebrate
Happy Labor Day, happy first day of September, and happy first day of meteorological fall! Meteorologists use September 1 as the first day of fall for easier record-keeping. So if you didn’t want to wait the 22 days until the autumnal equinox, feel free to say that you’re celebrating the meteorological way. In addition to this, our Labor Day forecast is looking splendid with temperatures staying mild in the upper 50s-lower 60s before lunch, reaching the low-mid 80s by afternoon. Most will stay dry with just a few clouds; however, towards southern Kentucky, we may see a bit more cloud cover and a few isolated showers. Most should stay dry, though, which is great if you have any outdoor holiday plans.
