Two people have been charged with violent disorder and arson after rioting in Harehills last year.
Lewis McArdle-Rose, 20 and of North Parkway, Leeds , will appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 2, charged with violent disorder and arson. A 16-year-old girl, will also appear before the court charged with the same offences.
West Yorkshire Police say 82 people have been arrested so far as part of their investigation into the rioting which took place in Harehills on July 18 and 19 last year. In addition, 41 people have been charged.
The police have made use of CCTV and facial recognition technology as they work to investigate the disorder.
