BROOKLYN, Ohio -- What Keep Brooklyn Beautiful’s Home Garden Contest this summer may have lacked in entries, participating residents made up for it in excitement about winning.

Despite last year’s contest including upward of 20 entries, this year’s affair found only seven residents participating.

The decision was made to name them all winners -- residents at 4374 Newberry Drive, 4564 Winter Lane, 4576 Forest Edge Drive, 4704 Summer Lane, 4723 Southwood Drive, 4742 Bentwood Drive and 9812 Memphis Villas Blvd.

Judging were Brooklyn Council-at-Large Andy Celcherts along with Keep Brooklyn Beautiful and former Laurel Garden Club members.

The passionate green thumbs receive $25 gift cards and yard signs.
