ERIE COUNTY, OHIO, Ohio — A Huron man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 6 in Berlin Township Sunday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
OSHP officials say Cade Gwynn, 23, was riding a 2018 Kawasaki motorcycle westbound on U.S. Route 6 around 8:58 P.M. when a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu allegedly failed to yield while turning left into a driveway.
According to troopers, Gwynn struck the side of the Malibu and was thrown from his motorcycle.
Gwynn, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say alcohol or drug use is not suspected.
At this time, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Sandusky Post is continuing its investigation. The Erie County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
In addition, no charges have been filed at this time.
