PELZER, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A man accused of stabbing a woman in her sleep early Sunday was granted bond.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Drake Street. The victim told deputies she woke up to 24-year-old Kobie Clary attacking her with a knife.
Detectives said that Clary had previously lived in a building on the victim’s property but had been placed on trespass notice several months ago. The victim had not had contact with him since.
According to officials, Clary stole a vehicle in order to get to the residence. He was quickly located and taken into custody without incident.
Clary is being charged with first-degree burglary, grand larceny and attempted murder. He was granted a $102,000 surety bond on Monday.
The victim is currently in a stable condition in
