MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - Two women were injured after a fight inside a home in Moline Monday morning.

According to Moline police, at 12:59 a.m. officers came to the 900 block of 12th Avenue for a report of a domestic dispute.

Around 2:15 a.m. a KWQC crew could see officers taping off the area.

Police said a 19-year-old woman from Moline got in an argument over the phone with her 37-year-old cousin from Rock Island.

The 37-year-old woman then came to Moline where officials said the two began to physically fight inside a home.

Police said both women had knife-related lacerations.

The 37-year-old woman fled before police arrived but later went to a local hospital for treatment. Police said the 19-year-old was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
