DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Officers with the Davenport Police Department are blocking off a part of West Locust Street after responding to a report of shots fired Wednesday night.

A KWQC crew on scene said officers were blocking off West Locust Street from Brown Street to Warren Street around 11:25 p.m. Around 11:30 p.m., the crew could see officers with armor and shields outside the home.

Around 11:40 p.m., the KWQC crew saw a bearcat arrived on scene.

An officer on scene told TV6 they went to the area for a report of shots fired. The crew could see several police squad cars in the intersection.
