Live Oak Fla. (WCJB) -An online silent auction is being held today to raise money for “Sweet Pea,” a 10-week-old puppy who survived severe abuse in Live Oak.
Authorities say 45-year-old Eric Roldan stomped on Sweet Pea, leaving her with skull fractures that required multiple surgeries. Despite the trauma, caregivers at Livin’ Like Larry Farm Sanctuary say the puppy has made a remarkable recovery.
Funds raised will go directly toward Sweet Pea’s medical expenses. The auction runs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with unique items up for bid — including a “Graffiti with Sweet Pea” experience, where the winning bidder can create art alongside the resilient pup.
