GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - While some people are spending their Labor Day relaxing, others are vocalizing their frustrations with the Trump administration.

Members of Gainesville Women for Democracy and other groups protested with Gainesville residents on Monday, crowding the intersection of East University and South Main Street.

Organizers are rallying against the current administration’s positive view of big business and their treatment of small business owners.

“The current leadership in the United States is pro-owners and big business, and we want to show and support the little guys, the people who are doing the labor in the world,” Pam Smith, one of the founders of Gainesville Women for Democracy, shared.
