INDIANA – Hoosiers can celebrate National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 27. On this day, individuals can support their favorite DNR property by volunteering or simply visiting.
To further celebrate, Indiana State Parks, Indiana State Forests, and State Recreation Areas that usually charge an entrance fee will offer free admission on Sunday, September 28. Department of Natural Resources properties will have various programs for visitors to participate in or observe.

Hikes
Pioneer activities
Crafts
Fishing programs
Live bird shows
Volunteer activities
