SOUTH BURLINGTON, VT. (WWLP) - A Massachusetts man was arrested in Vermont on Sunday after allegedly striking multiple vehicles while under the influence.

The Vermont State Police said that at approximately 5:26 p.m. on Sunday, troopers were called to the intersection of I-189 and Shelburne Road in South Burlington regarding a three-car crash. Reports stated that the driver who had caused the crash had left the area, but was found and held by witnesses until troopers arrived.

State police arrived at the intersection and identified the suspect as 18-year-old Jefferson Quinaloa of Brockton. Investigation revealed that Quinaloa was driving on I-189, struck multiple vehicles, and attempted to drive away. The troopers also determined that he was impaired while driving the vehicle.
