A woman is found dead in Tarrant, Alabama and the suspect is still on the loose

Sunday night police found a woman dead and are now searching for the suspect. TARRANT, Ala. —

A woman is found dead after what police believe was a shootout over a car. Sunday night after 10pm in the 1400 block of Ford Avenue, Tarrant Police were called to an incident where gunshots were fired. When officers got to the scene they found a 35 year old woman dead. A second woman had run from the scene. The victim has not a Tarrant resident. She had been attending a gathering in the area when police say she got into a fight with another woman over a car. So far no suspect in custody and the victim has not been named pending notification of family.
