The 64th annual St. Johns Picnic is set for all day this Saturday in the St. John community south of Lone Oak.
The meat stand opens early at 8 a.m. to take home barbecued pork, mutton and ribs. The country store also opens at 8.
Food stands open at 11 with hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue sandwiches, smoked bologna and more.
Kids games and inflatables are also open along with the dunking booth, cake walk, raffles, bingo and more.
From noon til 7, enjoy a full barbecue and fried chicken dinner with all the sides, fixins, drink and homemade dessert. Adults are $15, kids 10 and under $8, 3 and under free.
There's live music all day starting at noon, and fireworks at dusk.
A closing mass will be held after the fireworks.
