NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A man was taken into custody on Sunday evening after police seized narcotics and cash from him, according to the Norwalk Police Department.
A Norwalk police officer observed 51-year-old Romell Fisher operating a motor vehicle around 9:15 p.m. near West Avenue and recognized him from previous narcotics arrests. The officer was also aware that Fisher did not possess a valid driver's license.
During the motor vehicle stop, a police dog indicated that there was a narcotic odor coming from the vehicle, according to police.
Police said that they found a clear bag containing marijuana, nine baggies containing cocaine and a small bag containing two ecstasy pills.
Fisher was taken into custody without incident.
