A woman was left in tears after she was mocked for wearing an empowering dress at a Ladies Day event. ‌

Hundreds of women flocked to Chester Racecourse as they hosted their yearly Powells Jewellery Ladies Day on Saturday. Those in attendance were dressed to the nines, hoping to scoop the Best Dressed Competition whilst enjoying the racing action. ‌

Despite the wet weather , most punters had a brilliant day out - however, one woman has turned to TikTok to recount her ordeal at Chester Races through floods of tears. ‌

As reported by the Mirror , she revealed she felt "humiliated" by numerous racegoers who branded her appearance "stupid" in the gown she'd chosen. The woman was seen weeping during her heartfelt video as she described how people had "pointed and laughed" at her
