AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - Antonio's in downtown Amherst is experiencing a surge in business as college students return to campus, eager to enjoy their favorite pizza slices.
The popular pizza shop is bustling with activity, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights after 11:00 p.m., when lines stretch out the door as students seek a late-night snack.
"With the students, we can rely on very busy days, especially nights," said Stephen Boucher, Assistant General Manager at Antonio's.
Antonio's, open daily from 11:00 a.m., offers a variety of pizza specials, including the Mariachi and El Guapo, both featuring a black bean base and topped with guacamole. College students have their own favorites, with the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza being a top seller, second only to the classic cheese pizza.
