TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) -- Alabama fans are still reeling from the Crimson Tide’s 31–17 loss to Florida State this weekend, a rare season-opening defeat that left many surprised and frustrated.

At his weekly news conference, head coach Kalen DeBoer acknowledged that while the team had promising moments, consistency was lacking.

“We went out there and executed a lot of drives. We just had to do a better job of sustaining it,” DeBoer said. “If there’s that complacency maybe not taking for granted that once you get down into their territory, it’s automatically going to happen you’ve got to make it happen.”

For some fans, that complacency was easy to spot.
