There may have been more painful Labour Day Classics than Monday’s in the history of the annual tradition.

It’s hard to remember one.

Moments after the Hamilton Tiger-Cats had scored with 22 seconds left to seemingly steal a miraculous comeback victory in front of a delirious sold-out crowd, the Argonauts were somehow, implausibly jumping around on the field celebrating a 35-33 win.

“Frustrating,” was how head coach Scott Milanovich described it shortly after it was done.
