The All American Futurity is being hosted at Albuquerque Downs for the second year in a row after severe floods earlier this year damaged the racetrack at Ruidoso Downs, affecting the local economy.
"We're excited about putting the race on. It would have been a shame if, for some reason, we would have had to leave the state," Don Cook, the president of Racing Down at Albuquerque, said.
