NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier and center Braelin Moore were named SEC Offensive Player of the Week and Offensive Lineman of the Week, respectively, after leading LSU to a 17-10 comeback victory over Clemson on the road Saturday.

Nussmeier completed 28 of 38 passes for 232 yards and a touchdown, engineering LSU’s fourth fourth-quarter comeback of his career.

He was perfect in the fourth quarter, going 9-for-9 for 39 yards, including an 8-yard touchdown pass to tight end Tre’Dez Green with 12:18 left to give LSU its first lead of the game.

Nussmeier completed his final 11 passes as the Tigers secured their fifth true road win over an AP Top 5 team, and the first since beating No. 2 Alabama in 2019.
