BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — While the roads cleared up just before dark, backups stretched across I-10 throughout Monday afternoon.

While westbound traffic was worse, even those traveling eastbound could not believe how many cars were still stuck for miles. “I've never seen this traffic like this before. It's crazy,” Karen Paige said, who was traveling from Mobile to Pensacola.

Samantha Reyes was headed back home to Houston, Texas, after vacationing in Panama City. She said even though her family's car was getting closer to their destination, their 'estimated time of arrival' just kept getting longer. “It kind of gets a little frustrating just being in the car for so long,” Reyes said.
