BILOXI, Miss. (WKRG) — A Moss Point man has been arrested after he allegedly made threats toward people and led officers on a chase, according to the Biloxi Police Department.

According to a BPD news release, officers were called to the 700 block of Howard Avenue on Aug. 31, around 3:30 a.m., for a report of a man, now identified as 25-year-old Lashaun Coleman, threatening to shoot people in the area.

Coleman was seen leaving the business in a vehicle and later returned, walking toward the business with a gun in his hand, according to officials.

That's when Biloxi police reportedly approached him, leading him to run back to his vehicle and leave.

Officers said they chased him through the city, where he began driving at a high rate of speed through a neighborhood.
