WESTFIELD - Nick Parakilas (Broad Brook, Ct./East Windsor) scored two goals and assisted on a third as Westfield State University men’s soccer shot down the Flying Tigers of SUNY-Cobleskill by a 6-1 final score in the Owls season opener at Cobleskill, N.Y. on Sunday afternoon.

Parakilas assisted on Ethan Margolis ' (Wakefield) goal just 1:49 into the game to stake the Owls to a 1-0 lead, firing a good serve from the left flank, with Margolis heading it in at the back post. Parakilas added his first of the day 17 minutes later when Charlie Anischik (South Hadley) served a long ball from near midfield for Parakilas to run on to and bury in the back of the net.
