MOSS POINT, Miss. (WKRG) — The $1.1 billion Powerball drawing is set for Labor Day night, and many along the Gulf Coast are cashing in for their chance to become the next big winner.
Juandine Foster traveled from Mobile to Moss Point to have a shot at the jackpot.
“I just bought two tickets, and I’m hoping one of them would be the winner,” Foster said.
Same as Foster, Jeffrey Silavong traveled from Irvington, Alabama, for a Powerball ticket.
Silavong said if he happens to be a winner, he has some ideas on what he would like to do with the money.
“If I win it, I’d probably buy a house, a nice house, a nice car,” said Silavong.
