POCATELLO — Six years after beating cancer as a preschooler, 11-year-old Kadee Lott is squeezing lemons for a cause close to her heart.
The young cancer survivor organized a lemonade stand with her family to raise money for children currently battling the disease, transforming her own experience with childhood cancer into a mission of giving back to others facing the same fight she won at age 5.
Kadee’s mother Anjillee Lott moved to Pocatello with her mom and family in 2001 and have lived here for 24 years. Lott and her husband attended Highland High School and were high school sweethearts since sophomore year. The pair will be married 18 years in October and have five children, with Kadee being the oldest.
