A restaurant chain with several branches in Edinburgh was recently branded the 'worst in the world' by one food critic.
German Doner Kebab recently opened several restaurants in the capital in busy spots such as St James Quarter shopping centre and Waverley Station, offering a 'healthy and nutritionally balanced' take on one of the nation's favourite post night out meals.
However, The Times food critic Giles Coren was left less than impressed after visiting his local branch in London and wrote a scathing review - singling out "utterly hideous" food.
Coren also called out the poor service at the branch, and concluded by calling the restaurant a "joke". In the end, he assigned it an "overgenerous" score of -2.67.
