Following Week 2 of high school fall sports in Western North Carolina, it's time to vote for this week's Ingles Western North Carolina boys Athlete of the Week.

Cherokee swept last week's polls, with senior runner Dvdaya Swimmer taking the girls poll and sophomore quarterback Dawson Panther winning the boys poll.

Vote for the boys athlete who had the best performance last week . The poll closes on Thursday at noon.

Oak Markland, Avery County: Markland had four receptions for 160 yards with touchdowns of 50 and 88 yards, in the Vikings’ 26-20 loss to West Caldwell. He also had four carries for 28 yards.
