ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A man was hospitalized after being shot inside the restroom at an East Point McDonald’s, according to police.

Police said officers arrived to the McDonald’s on Camp Creek Parkway and found the man in the drive-thru lane. Witnesses told police the man had been in the restroom when he was shot. Police said video footage backed up witness statements and showed a man in all black enter the restroom.

According to police, a gunshot could be heard on video before the suspect left the restaurant.

The victim was taken to the hospital.
