AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Richmond County deputies are looking for a man wanted in an aggravated assault case.

Nathaniel Rashown Turner, 51, is wanted in reference to an aggravated assault incident that happened on the 2700 block of Landing Loop Drive.

Deputies say the incident happened on Aug. 30.

Mom accused of helping teen escape S.C. detention center

A mother is facing charges after allegedly helping their teen escape from the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.

Deputies say Turner is knowns to frequent the area of Ellis Street in downtown Augusta.

He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 217 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
