A Scituate, Massachusetts, man is expected to face a judge Monday after officials said he turned himself in in connection with the body of a Maine man left outside South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.

Christopher Caron, 42, is expected to be arraigned at Hingham District Court on a murder charge, three days after he was said to have turned himself in.

According to authorities, police were contacted by the hospital on Aug. 23 after Caron allegedly showed up and alerted staff that a body was in a black Honda Civic parked in front of the entrance to the emergency room.

Caron ran away, authorities said.
