Seven people were hospitalized after a van crashed into a utility pole in Peabody, Massachusetts, on Wednesday.

Peabody police said they responded to a motor vehicle crash on Margin Street shortly after noon. Arriving officers found a van carrying 14 passengers had struck a utility pole.

They said that seven passengers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The remaining passengers were evaluated at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
