1. Edna Karr: The reigning state champions have four power-conference commitments on defense, including LSU-bound defensive lineman Richard Anderson and safety Aiden Hall.
2. Destrehan: The Wildcats return plenty of firepower, including LSU commitment Jabari Mack on offense from a team that reached the state semifinals.
3. St. Augustine: Another team with an experienced quarterback and dynamic receivers Ray’Quan Williams and Miguel Whitley, who each scored on big plays in a jamboree.
4. Brother Martin: Junior wideout Easton Royal is the main offensive threat on a team that has four wideouts receiving interest from colleges.
5. Rummel: The Raiders have plenty of experience on defense from a team that finished second behind Karr in the district last season.
6. John Cur
