STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Officers allegedly seized cocaine hidden in small “garbage can” style containers and brass knuckles from a 28-year-old New Brighton man accused of selling drugs in his neighborhood
Anthony Fils of Jersey Street has had multiple drug-related encounters with the NYPD this summer and also is accused of fare-beating as recently as Thursday, according to court documents and public records.
In connection with his arrest on Aug. 24, officers allegedly seized five white glassine envelopes from Fils in New Brighton. The envelopes allegedly contained tan heroin powder, according to a criminal complaint based on an investigation by Narcotics Borough Staten Island.
