Why a group of Harley Davidson motorbikes parked up in Bristol city centre last night

Anyone in or near Bristol city centre at 7.30pm last night (September 1) may have heard a roar of revving engines as more than 30 Harley Davidson motorcycles parked up in the Centre . Bikers turned up in their droves to mark the opening day of an award-winning hit musical making its return to the stage.

Featuring hit songs from Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman, Bat Out Of Hell arrived at the Bristol Hippodrome on the night, and to mark the occasion, the group of motorcycles revved their engines in unison, while others were displayed in front of the theatre. It was quite a sight (and sound) for passersby, with the noise travelling all the way up Park Street and beyond.
