Officials in Evanston were searching Nina Kraus, a Northwestern University School of Communications professor, who was last seen Monday morning.
According to Evanston Police, Kraus 72, was last seen at 9 a.m. Monday leaving her home in the 1500 block of Ashland to go for a walk. Kraus was wearing long pants and a windbreaker, police said.
Kraus is described by police as "very fit," standing at 5’4” and 140 pounds, with long silver hair and brown eyes.
"Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Evanston Police Department at 847-866-5000," police said.
