State pensioners can increase their income by as much as £14,214 in September through 10 government benefits and reductions.

Following a 4.1% rise in the State Pension implemented in April this year, pensioners throughout the UK have already received additional monthly funds, with the complete basic State Pension now valued at £176.45 weekly (equivalent to £9,175.40 annually) and the complete new State Pension valued at £230.25 weekly (equivalent to £11,973 annually).

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) states that the new 2025/26 rates provide an additional £360 yearly for basic State Pension recipients, whilst those receiving the new State Pension will benefit by up to £470 annually.
