Storm Team 10 is tracking a tropical wave that has emerged off the coast of Africa. The National Hurricane Center is placing a 70% chance that this becomes a tropical depression or stronger in the next 7 days as it moves northwest. The next name on the list if Gabrielle.

Global models show a forecast path similar to Erin and Fernand where the disturbance tracks north of the Caribbean Sea before making a hard turn to stay in the Atlantic. The forecast uncertainty is high at this point but this doesn't pose a threat to the Gulf at this time.
