MUSKEGON, Mich. — There are multiple young West Michiganders taking part in a nationwide mullet competition.
That includes 8-year-old Jett from Muskegon.
He’s competing in the USA Mullet Championship looking to cheer on his favorite football team, the Detroit Lions, through his haircut.
The competition is raising money for the nonprofit Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors which builds vets mortgage free and fully accessible homes.
On top of raising money for our vets, Jett also hopes to use the prize to cheer on the Lions at the Super Bowl. Visit the USA Mullet Championship to place your vote .
