NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation into a social media account that helped to organize "riotous" car meetups has led to the arrest of an 18-year-old in Nashville.

According to court documents, the Metro Nashville Police Department launched an extensive investigation into an Instagram account that posted advertisements for car meetups and videos of dangerous driving stunts that allegedly took place in Nashville.

Maycol Castaneda Orellana was booked into Metro jail on Monday, accused of being the account's owner. Court documents said Orellana played a central role in organizing, promoting and participating in at least one car meetup in Antioch.

Officials said during the investigation, the account posted an advertisement for a car meet on Cane Ridge Road, leading the MNPD Traffic D
