WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- The Williamson County Sheriff's Office and the Franklin Police Department teamed up last week to capture a teenager clocked driving 110 mph.
It all started during the early morning hours of Thursday, Aug. 28, when Williamson County deputies chased a Honda Civic along Interstate 65 South. Investigators reported the car reached speeds of up to 110 mph.
When the vehicle darted off I-65, deputies backd off because of the excessive speeds. However, the driver -- later identified as 18-year-old Ryel Haynes of Antioch -- reportedly got off at Peytonsville Road and turned onto Pratt Lane at a high rate of speed.
